After having the same pair of reading glasses for 30 years it was definitely time to get something a little bit more modern. I got my prescription and went to an eyeglass place to order the glasses. I asked “how much is this pair?” The lady said “let me check” and would come back in 2 minutes with a price. I asked about another pair and got another “let me check.” I asked about some options “let me check.”  I suggested to her they should post the prices – it would take too long to check 30 pairs of glasses. I left the store and went to another place. For some nice progressive bifocals it would cost $457. Wow! I decided to go home and  see if I could do any better on the Internet. I looked at many sites and reviews. The place with the lowest prices and best reviews was a place called 39dollar eyeglasses. It was easy to figure things out and you got lots of things included. What I ended up with was fancy progressive bifocal glasses that could bend and twist and all the options for $149. (You can get them starting at $35 or so) I found a link where you can get them even cheaper than I did. Enjoy!
